In 2011 the Guild began holding its Annual Meeting at different venues besides General Theological Seminary in New York. The meeting this year was held at the Community of the Transfiguration in Glendale, Ohio, the mother house of an Episcopalian order. The speakers were:

• The Right Rev. Thomas E. Breidenthal, Bishop of Southern Ohio
• Debora Kuller Shuger (UCLA), on the life and death of Archbishop William Laud
• John Krantz (Hanover College), on the human visual system and how it helps us see what we need to see
• David Holmes (William and Mary University), on Virginia churchmanship and the interplay between high and low in the Episcopal Church.
